Introducing the New Bronco Raptor Blackout Package at the Eclipse Event
Experience the unveiling of the Bronco Raptor Blackout Package at our special solar eclipse viewing event.
Ford is extending an extraordinary invitation to Bronco and Bronco Sport owners for an exclusive viewing of the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, at the Bronco Off-Roadeo located just outside Austin, Texas. This event capitalizes on the scarcity of accommodation in the area, as hotel rooms are nearly impossible to find due to the eclipse. Positioned in Texas' Hill Country, the Off-Roadeo site is touted by USA Today as one of the premier spots in the United States for eclipse viewing. The celestial spectacle will be observable within a narrow corridor stretching from central Mexico to far-eastern Canada, with the Off-Roadeo location offering one of the longest viewing durations in the country at approximately 4 minutes and 13 seconds.
Matt Simpson, the general manager for Ford Enthusiast Vehicles, highlighted the exceptional nature of this event, noting that 94 percent of past Off-Roadeo attendees have rated their experience with a five-star review. The upcoming eclipse event promises to elevate this satisfaction even further, offering an unparalleled opportunity to witness a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event in a uniquely thrilling setting.
The Bronco Off-Roadeo is an exclusive one-day adventure that comes with the purchase of any Bronco, Bronco Sport, or Bronco Raptor. It features challenging trails, professional guidance, and a comprehensive educational experience on how to maximize the capabilities of these vehicles. For those seeking a shorter experience, a Half-Day Adventure is also available, offering a four-hour, guided off-road excursion.
Recognizing that the eclipse event will draw enthusiasts of all skill levels, Ford has made provisions for both camping and day passes to accommodate different preferences. The camping package, priced at $1,995 per vehicle, covers up to four individuals for two nights and includes five meals and exclusive access to guided trail drives. This option is designed to offer an immersive experience while avoiding the expected traffic congestion. Alternatively, the day pass option allows for a more concise adventure at $595 per vehicle, including meals.
Following the eclipse, attendees will be introduced to the new Bronco Raptor Blackout Package, adding an exciting reveal to an already memorable day. Ford has also put in place a waitlist for those unable to secure their spot immediately, ensuring that interested customers have a chance to participate.
This unique event underscores Ford’s commitment to creating exceptional experiences for its customers, blending the thrill of off-road adventure with the awe-inspiring beauty of a total solar eclipse. It’s a testament to the brand’s innovative approach to customer engagement, offering not just a vehicle, but a gateway to unforgettable experiences.
