Aston Martin DBX707 AMR24 Edition Two Years On: Outgunned by the DBX S
The F1-themed DBX707 of July 2024 changed paint and trim, not power. Nine months later Aston put a stronger, lighter DBX S above it.

On July 4, 2024, Aston Martin announced the DBX707 AMR24 Edition, a special edition of its fastest SUV in the colors of its Formula 1 team. It was the most exciting DBX for only nine months.
The 2024 story
The AMR24 Edition celebrated the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team and its 2024 car. Paint choices were Podium Green with Lime accents, Onyx Black or Neutron White, on 23-inch Fortis wheels, with Lime stitching inside, extended carbon fiber trim and an AMR24 engine plaque. Under the paint it was a standard DBX707: a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 707 PS (697 hp) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft), a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, good for 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and 193 mph. Aston did not publish a price.
What happened next
In April 2025, Aston Martin added the DBX S above the DBX707. It raises output to 727 PS (717 hp) with the same 900 Nm, and optional lightweight parts, including a carbon-fiber roof and 23-inch forged magnesium wheels, save up to 47 kg (103 lb). Stacked exhaust outlets set it apart. The DBX707 stayed on sale below it, and for the 2025 model year it received the interior and infotainment system first seen in the DB12.

Our read
The AMR24 Edition was a marketing tie-in with a serial-number appeal, not a performance step. Aston's real move came with the DBX S, which keeps it in the race with the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and Ferrari Purosangue. For an F1 fan the AMR24 Edition is the collectible; for the fastest DBX, the answer is now the S.
