Cyan Racing reveals the Volvo P1800 Cyan GT, blending comfort with race-derived power in a striking metallic green, tailor-made for the winding road.

Cyan Racing recently revealed its exquisite $700,000 Volvo P1800 Cyan, a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Swedish sports car, now presented in a stunning metallic green. This particular model introduces the GT variant, designed to enhance comfort and road usability compared to its predecessor.

Significant modifications have been made to the suspension system of the GT model to ensure it is apt for both leisurely drives on winding rural roads and extended journeys. Additionally, adjustments to the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine have been made to enhance overall drivability.

This metallic green GT model, destined for a client in the U.S., features striking chrome details on the grille, front bumper, headlights, wing mirrors, door handles, window frames, and rear section. The vehicle’s aesthetic is further enhanced by gold-painted wheels and bronze-finished brake calipers.

Inside, the cabin boasts sand-colored leather and fabric interiors, complemented by a three-spoke Momo Prototipo steering wheel and a titanium roll cage encased in soft leather.

Christian Dahl, Cyan’s CEO, emphasized the bespoke nature of the Volvo P1800 Cyan, noting the rewarding experience of customizing each car with clients. He also expressed excitement about delivering more of these vehicles to the U.S.

The car’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, derived from the Volvo S60 TC1 race car, delivers a formidable 413 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque. Cyan offers customization options for power output starting at 350 hp. Each model features rear-wheel drive and a dog-leg five-speed manual gearbox.
