Hyundai IONIQ 5 N secures the 2024 World Performance Car title, marking its fourth win in three years and reinforcing its leadership in the EV market.

Hyundai Motor Company has once again proven its dominance at the World Car Awards, securing the title of 2024 World Performance Car for its high-performance electric vehicle (EV), the IONIQ 5 N. This marks the fourth significant win for the IONIQ 5 lineup at the World Car Awards over the last three years, further establishing the IONIQ 5 N as a market leader in high-performance technology among EVs.

Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, expressed the company’s excitement and honor in receiving the prestigious World Performance Car award for the IONIQ 5 N. He stated that this recognition serves as a testament to Hyundai’s dedication to advancing electric performance and innovation. The winners of this year’s World Car Awards were announced during a ceremony at the 2024 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).
