Starting at $40,445, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 outprices the CX-90, focusing on luxury and performance with advanced features and a turbocharged engine.

The 2025 Mazda CX-70 is sparking conversations with its pricing strategy, as it’s unveiled with a starting price of $40,445, positioning it above the CX-90’s entry-level cost of $37,845. Despite sharing price points on a comparable trim level, the CX-70, a two-row crossover, raises eyebrows by offering less space than the three-row CX-90, omitting the more affordable Select trim available for its larger sibling.

The CX-70 distinguishes itself with a focus on luxury and style, featuring a 3.3 Turbo Preferred trim adorned with LED lights, black accents, and 19-inch alloy wheels, among other upscale amenities. Its interior boasts black leather heated seats, advanced tech like a wireless charger, and a suite of safety features, including Mazda Radar Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist.

Powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter engine, the CX-70 promises performance with 280 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, delivering an EPA-estimated 25 mpg combined.

The higher CX-70 trims, such as the 3.3 Turbo Premium and Premium Plus, escalate in luxury with features like a panoramic sunroof, larger wheels, and enhanced towing capacity. The interior and tech upgrades include a Bose audio system, digital instrument cluster, and advanced driver assistance systems, pushing the envelope in comfort and safety.

At the top, the CX-70 3.3 Turbo S Premium showcases an engine boost to 340 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, setting a new benchmark for performance within the lineup.
