Mustang GTD Orders Now Open in Europe, Mexico, and Puerto Rico Until July 19
Ford is now accepting Mustang GTD orders in Europe, Mexico, and Puerto Rico until July 19. Prices vary significantly, with the GTD costing up to $562,300 in Austria and $325,000 in Puerto Rico.
After closing applications for the Mustang GTD in the United States and Canada, Ford is now accepting requests for its top-tier Mustang in Europe, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Interested buyers have until July 19 to apply, but should be prepared for the hefty price tag of this high-performance sports car.
Ford has created a dedicated page for the Mustang GTD, revealing significant pricing differences across European countries due to varying local taxes. For instance, the Mustang GTD can cost up to $562,300 in Austria, while it’s relatively more affordable in Romania and Germany at $385,100. In Puerto Rico, the price is $325,000, aligning with the U.S. Pricing.
Canadians received the best deal at $320,000, but the application window has closed. Production for the U.S. and Canada is set to start in late 2024 or early 2025, with sufficient orders to cover the 2025 and 2026 model years.
In Europe, production is expected to begin next spring. However, buyers in this region face the possibility that the GTD might not be street-legal in all markets, as it is currently undergoing homologation. It may end up as a track-only vehicle in certain countries. Accepted customers will be informed if their cars will be street-legal. Additionally, European buyers must take delivery of their vehicles in Spain.
