Introducing the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S: Jeep’s First All-Electric SUV

Jeep has introduced the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S, marking its first all-electric offering in the US.

The exterior of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is unmistakably a Jeep, featuring the signature seven-slot grille and the iconic Jeep silhouette. However, this grille has been redesigned for the electric era, showcasing striking illumination. Aerodynamic enhancements include flush-fitting door handles and a full-width light bar paired with a large wing spoiler at the rear. 

Boasting a drag coefficient of 0.29, the same as the Tesla Model 3, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S achieves this with innovative wind-resistant body sculpting. The prominent rear spoiler allows it to maintain a boxy side profile while optimizing the aerodynamics of the greenhouse.

Initially available in the Launch Edition trim, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S comes fully equipped with luxurious features. These include heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. Additional standard features include a 10-inch head-up display, vegan leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and a 10.25-inch screen for the front passenger. 

The interior of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S mirrors the upscale design of other modern Jeeps. The cabin is sleek and streamlined, with numerous screens and customizable ambient lighting on the dash and door panels. The interior also features recycled materials and synthetic leather on the seats, center console, and door panels. It supports over-the-air software updates and runs Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 operating system.

Powering the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S are two 250-kW electric motors, delivering an impressive 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque. This setup enables a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, making it the fastest Jeep to date. The vehicle can tow up to 3,400 pounds. 

With a 100.5 kWh battery, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is expected to exceed 300 miles on a single charge. It can charge from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes at a DC fast charging station. Initially, it will feature a CCS charging port, transitioning to the NACS standard in the coming years. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is built on Stellantis’ SLTA-Large EV platform.

Reservations for the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S open tomorrow, starting at $71,995, with deliveries beginning this fall.
