The New 2025 Toyota Camry: Enhanced and Economical

2025 Toyota Camry Debuts: Hybrid Standard, More Affordable

The 2025 Toyota Camry offers standard hybrid powertrains with more affordable leasing options and purchase prices than the previous models.

The newest iteration of the Toyota Camry, the 2025 model, arrives with significant updates, yet surprisingly, it is not more expensive than its predecessors. A notable enhancement for the 2025 Camry is the standardization of hybrid powertrains across all variants, a shift from the previous lineup that included hybrid, four-cylinder, and V6 options.

For those considering a lease, the 2025 entry-level Camry LE is notably more affordable. In Southern California, for example, it can be leased for just $359 per month over 36 months with an initial payment of $2,999. This presents a considerable saving compared to the 2024 Camry Hybrid SE, which leases for $469 per month under similar terms.

The lower price point for the 2025 Camry LE compared to the SE model can largely be attributed to the difference in equipment levels. However, even the more equipped 2025 Camry SE is offered at a lease price of $389 per month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing, still under the cost of last year’s equivalent model.

Performance-wise, the 2025 Camry’s exclusive hybrid setup includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors in the front-wheel-drive model and three in the all-wheel-drive model, producing 225 hp and 232 hp respectively. These engines are coupled with an eCVT transmission and a lithium-ion battery pack.

Furthermore, those looking to purchase a 2025 Camry outright will find some models to be more cost-effective than their 2024 counterparts. The base LE model, for instance, starts at $28,400—down from $28,855 the previous year—while the mid-range XLE also sees a price reduction, starting at $33,400 compared to $33,745 in 2024.
