The 2025 Infiniti QX80 emerges, mirroring the QX Monograph concept with its robust design and advanced tech, setting a new standard in the luxury SUV segment.

The Infiniti QX Monograph concept, introduced in August 2023, seems to have leaped from imagination to reality with the unveiling of Infiniti’s new QX80 three-row SUV. Bearing a striking resemblance to the concept, the production version retains the distinctive design elements, including the vertical corner vents, large grille, and sleek door handles, marking a seamless transition from concept to production.

Infiniti emphasizes the SUV’s robust and upright design, which they describe as an «anti-wedge profile,» featuring a nearly flat hood. This design choice underscores the vehicle’s formidable presence and off-road capabilities, packaged within a traditional frame structure.

The interior of the QX80 reveals a luxurious setting, highlighted by semi-aniline quilted seats in the top Autograph trim, adorned with wood and aluminum accents. The digital integration is evident with dual 14.3-inch display screens forming a wide dashboard display, complemented by a 9.0-inch center console screen that centralizes climate control and other functionalities.

Infiniti has introduced a suite of technological features aimed at enhancing both safety and convenience. These include various camera views for improved visibility and parking assistance, in-car monitoring for front-seat passengers, and social media integration for sharing journey highlights. Furthermore, the QX80 boasts innovative climate control features, such as Biometric Cooling and heated seats in all rows, ensuring comfort for all passengers.

Under the hood, the QX80 transitions from a traditional V-8 engine to a more powerful twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6, promising enhanced performance with 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain, coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a stiffer body frame, aims to deliver a refined and dynamic driving experience.

With a range of trims available at launch and a host of customization options, the 2025 Infiniti QX80 positions itself as a contender in the luxury SUV segment, offering advanced technology, comfort, and performance. As it prepares to hit the market, it remains to be seen how it will fare against competitors and whether consumers will be inclined to invest in this new flagship model from Infiniti.
