Alfa Romeo’s high-performance Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models will see their final production in June 2024, as the brand shifts towards electrification.

This summer marks a poignant transition for Alfa Romeo aficionados, as the company will cease the production of its esteemed high-performance vehicles in the US, heralding the conclusion of a remarkable chapter. The farewell of the iconic Quadrifoglio variants of the Giulia and Stelvio is slated for June, as confirmed by Larry Dominique, Alfa Romeo’s North American senior vice president, via a LinkedIn announcement. Dominique emphasizes the urgency for enthusiasts to place their orders promptly to secure one of these combustion-engine marvels before Alfa Romeo pivots towards an electrified era.

Dominique’s post highlights the closure of orders for the 2024 models of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio in North America by the end of April 2024, with the final combustion-engine models departing the Cassino manufacturing facility in June 2024. These models, powered by a Ferrari-influenced 2.9-liter V6 engine, are celebrated for their dynamic performance and driving exhilaration, boasting 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.

While the upcoming cessation of the Stelvio and Giulia Quadrifoglio production signifies an end to their combustion-only versions, Dominique hints at the continuation of the Quadrifoglio legacy, potentially in electrified forms. Alfa Romeo is set to evolve its lineup with hybrid and electric models, including an anticipated all-electric successor to the Giulia, rumored to deliver up to 986 horsepower, heralding a new era of high-performance vehicles.
