The Jeep Wrangler 392 is back for 2025 due to popular demand. Featuring a 6.4L HEMI V8, 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and enhanced off-road capabilities, this powerhouse SUV is set to impress.

Depending on your perspective, there’s either good or bad news: the Jeep Wrangler 392 is returning for the 2025 model year. Stellantis announced that «popular demand» drove the decision to bring back the V8-powered Wrangler for another year.

The 2023 20th Anniversary Model left a glowing impression, so its return is welcome news for those who missed it. However, there might be some backlash. Let’s see what 2025 brings before passing judgment.

Our senior road testers are eager to test the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 again, with its 0-60 mph claim of 4.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13 seconds. With 11.6 inches of ground clearance, they’ll take it to their favorite dry lake bed or ford waters up to 34.5 inches, using the upgraded rock sliders and 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch if necessary.

The special edition also includes a two-speed transfer case, heavy-duty Dana 44 axles with locking differentials, and an electronic front sway-bar disconnect. It features black and bronze hood and fender decals, black Nappa leather seats, a monogrammed shifter medallion and swing gate plaque, a half-inch suspension lift, a fold-out swing gate table from Mopar, and bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

Stellantis says the «Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit will remain exclusive to 2024 model-year 392 Final Edition vehicles,» but will that placate customers who paid $108,890 for what they thought was the last-ever Wrangler? While automakers must respond to customer demand, Stellantis has faced criticism before for similar actions.

A class-action lawsuit was filed against Dodge after the Durango Hellcat returned in 2023, despite being marketed as a one-year-only model. However, the Jeep community is generally friendly, and more V8 off-roaders are likely welcome. Pricing for the 2024 model was $99,995 (excluding $1,895 for destination), but the 2025 Final Edition cost is yet to be announced, with production starting early next year and orders opening before the end of 2024.
