Introducing the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT: Unmatched Power, Speed, and Innovation

The 2025 Audi E-Tron GT lineup includes the 912-hp RS E-Tron GT Performance. Upgraded battery and charging capabilities, along with enhanced suspension, mark this as Audi’s most powerful production vehicle.

Following the mid-cycle update of the Porsche Taycan, its sibling, the Audi E-Tron GT, receives its own comprehensive refresh for 2025. The new lineup features three versions: the S E-Tron GT, RS E-Tron GT, and the new top-tier RS E-Tron GT Performance.

Enhanced Power and Performance

The flagship RS E-Tron GT Performance becomes Audi’s most powerful production vehicle, delivering a staggering 912 horsepower. While it doesn’t quite match the 1,019-hp Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, it still achieves an impressive 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The RS E-Tron GT provides 845 hp and hits 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, while the base model, S E-Tron GT, offers 671 hp with a 3.4-second sprint.

All models feature a dual-motor setup, ensuring all-wheel drive. Audi has no plans for a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration.

Improved Battery and Charging Capabilities

The E-Tron GT’s battery has been upgraded, increasing usable energy capacity from 84 kWh to 97 kWh and reducing weight by 20 pounds. The battery supports a higher maximum charging power of 320 kW, up from the previous 270 kW. This enhancement allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, and a 10-minute charge can provide up to 174 miles of range.

Suspension and Handling Upgrades

The updated E-Tron GT includes a newly developed two-chamber, two-valve air suspension, which can adjust the car’s height by 2.1 to 3 inches for improved comfort over bumps. The RS E-Tron GT Performance features a dedicated performance mode for optimized track use.

Design and Interior

While retaining its futuristic design, the 2025 E-Tron GT pays homage to Audi’s heritage with 21-inch forged wheels inspired by the 1991 Audi Avus Quattro concept. Inside, the RS E-Tron GT Performance features a digital instrument cluster with a white theme, referencing the 1994 RS2 Avant.

Pricing

In Germany, the 2025 S E-Tron GT starts at €126,000 ($135,200), the RS E-Tron GT at €147,500 ($158,200), and the RS E-Tron GT Performance at €160,500 ($172,200). Pricing for the U.S. market is yet to be announced.
