Explore the Enhanced 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS: Power Meets Luxury
The 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS debuts with a more powerful V-8 engine and refined style, starting at $126,895.
Porsche continues to diversify its lineup, enhancing the Cayenne range with an even more appealing GTS model. The 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS, a driver-centric variant, remains non-electric but boasts significant enhancements under the hood. Its twin-turbo V-8 engine now delivers an additional 40 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque, bringing its total to 493 hp and 487 lb-ft. This power boost allows the large SUV to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 171 mph. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that offers faster shifts in Sport or Sport Plus modes.
The GTS is available in both the traditional SUV form and the more streamlined «Coupe» version. Beyond the engine, Porsche has also tweaked the suspension for sharper handling. The front axle incorporates pivot bearings from the high-performance Turbo GT for more precise steering. The standard air suspension has been adjusted specifically for the GTS, lowering the ride height by 10 mm compared to other Cayenne models, with an option for active roll stabilization at an extra cost.
From the Turbo GT, the GTS inherits a separate water-cooling circuit for the all-wheel-drive system. The Cayenne GTS Coupe also features an adaptive rear spoiler and an optional exhaust with center-mounted tips. Although Porsche offers three packages to reduce weight by up to 55 pounds, the impact is minimal given the vehicle’s substantial curb weight, previously recorded at 4,954 pounds.
Visually, the GTS stands out with larger front air intakes, red brake calipers, and tinted headlights and taillights. It comes with the Sport Design Package as standard, which includes dark-themed wheel arch extensions, window surrounds, and rocker panels—a shift from the previous model’s body-colored treatments. The exhaust tips, previously black, are now finished in dark bronze.
The GTS also sports 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels and an interior accented with Race Tex microfiber across the door cards, headliner, steering wheel, and seat centers. Additional color themes like Slate Grey and Carmine Red are available for customization.
Prospective buyers can expect the order books to open soon with a starting price of $126,895 for the Cayenne and $131,495 for the Cayenne Coupe, after destination charges. Dealerships are set to receive the first units this fall. Given its features and pricing, the GTS could represent the most balanced option in the Cayenne lineup, especially compared to the top-tier Cayenne Coupe-only Turbo GT, which starts at a staggering $197,950.
