Introducing the Bentayga S Black Edition: Bentley’s Dark Masterpiece

Bentley reveals the Bentayga S Black Edition, featuring black-tinted wings, vibrant accent colors, and advanced technology for a dynamic and enigmatic driving experience.

Bentley Motors unveils its most visually captivating SUV yet, the Bentayga S Black Edition, marking a significant milestone with the inaugural use of black-tinted wings on a Bentley in over a century. This edition is distinguished by its vivid accent colors against a backdrop of luxurious black details and advanced chassis technology, showcasing Bentayga’s bolder, more enigmatic aspect.

The Bentayga S Black Edition offers a palette of seven striking accent colors including Mandarin, Signal Yellow, Klein Blue, Pillar Box Red, Ice, Hyper Green, and Beluga, enhancing the vehicle’s design with a dynamic inside-out contrast against the sleek black elements.

The exterior features a distinctive stripe along the Styling Specification body kit, complemented by color-matched brake calipers and 22″ black wheels, setting off the gloss black exterior trim which, for the first time in Bentley’s history, extends to the Bentley Wings and lettering. A special Black Edition badge on the rear D pillar signifies this unique model.

Enhancements to the Bentayga range introduce greater customization options, with new satin paints, an additional exterior color, and a new 21″ wheel design. Innovations focused on improving the driving experience include new chassis technology and all-wheel steering, now standard on the Bentayga Azure and ‘S’ V8 models, improving agility and reducing the turning radius.

Inside, the S Black Edition features a bespoke color scheme with Beluga leather accented by vibrant contrast colors, visible in the stitching, piping, and leather trim, complemented by a new carbon fiber weave on the fascia and center console. The Dark Chrome pack, now standard, replaces traditional chrome with gloss black details for a cohesive aesthetic.

Audio options range from the Bentley Signature Audio to the premium Bang & Olufsen and Naim systems, enhancing the in-car experience with exceptional sound quality.

The vehicle’s agility is boosted by Electronic All-Wheel Steering, which varies its response based on speed to enhance maneuverability and stability, complemented by Bentley Dynamic Ride for unparalleled comfort and handling.

Powered by a 4.0-litre V8 turbocharged engine, the Bentayga S Black Edition boasts 542 bhp, achieving 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 180 mph. It features Bentley Dynamic Ride as standard, the first electric active roll control technology, ensuring superior ride comfort and dynamic handling.

The SPORT mode further sharpens the driving experience with enhanced steering, reduced body-roll, and recalibrated Torque Vectoring by Brake for a more responsive drive. A sports exhaust system adds to the performance feel with its rich acoustic character.

Despite its sporty focus, the Bentayga S Black Edition maintains its off-road prowess, with optional modes for various terrains and a 500 mm wading depth.

The Bentayga S Hybrid Black Edition combines sporty aesthetics with a hybrid powertrain, offering a 462 PS combined output from a 3.0-litre V6 and electric motor, providing a spirited drive with the added benefit of electric torque from standstill, and sound enhancements in Sport mode for an engaging driving experience.
