Discover Karma Automotive's Gyesera, an exclusive electric sedan blending cutting-edge performance with luxury, ushering in a new era of electric elegance.

Karma Automotive recently celebrated its 10th anniversary by introducing the Gyesera, an all-electric sedan that broadens its product range. This launch follows the debut of the 1,000-hp Kaveya super coupe GT in Las Vegas the previous year. The Gyesera stands out as a purely electric model, distinguishing itself from the GS-6, Karma’s range-extended vehicle known as one of the oldest cars available for sale in 2024.

The new sedan is built on the same platform as the GSe-6, yet Karma Automotive has significantly modified the vehicle, offering a fresh performance profile along with distinct exterior and interior designs. Marques McCammon, the president of Karma Automotive, described the Gyesera as a symbol of the company’s new direction, highlighting its modern aesthetics and exceptional performance capabilities.

Karma Automotive has shared preliminary specifications for the Gyesera, featuring a 120 kWh battery expected to deliver over 250 miles of range on a single charge. The powertrain is anticipated to generate a combined 590 horsepower and 693 lb-ft of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0–60 mph in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 135 mph. The car’s design incorporates an aluminum spaceframe chassis, carbon fiber and aluminum body panels, and an aluminum SLA suspension, contributing to an estimated weight of 5,300 pounds. Its dimensions reveal a vehicle longer and with a greater wheelbase than the Tesla Model S, but lower and narrower.

Pricing details for the Gyesera were not disclosed, but the company has positioned it as an ultra-exclusive and exotic model, implying it will be more exclusive than competitors such as the Cadillac Celestiq. McCammon, in discussions with media outlets, indicated that the Gyesera would surpass the exclusivity of models like the Porsche Taycan. Additionally, he shared plans to produce approximately 2,000 units of the Gyesera over four to five years.

Reservations for the Gyesera are now open, with a pre-order fee of $5,000. Deliveries to customers are expected to commence later this year for the 2025 model year, marking a significant milestone for Karma Automotive as it continues to evolve its electric vehicle offerings.
