Discover the Upgraded Interior of the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD
The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD, priced at $325,000, boasts a luxurious interior with Recaro bucket seats, carbon fiber, and leather.
The majority of the $325,000 price tag for the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD will be attributed to its unparalleled performance, surpassing any factory Mustang in history. Nevertheless, at this price point, buyers would anticipate a significantly upgraded interior compared to a standard Mustang. The GTD meets these expectations with its extensive use of high-end materials, though whether it suffices is subjective.
Ford is set to unveil the Mustang GTD’s interior to the public at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Upon entering, buyers will find standard Recaro bucket seats and an interior adorned with carbon fiber and leather. The center stack features a rotary dial shifter, which can be made of titanium, alongside new buttons for the front-axle lift and Track Apps, accessible through the 13.2-inch touchscreen.
Some sound deadening is removed in cars equipped with the Performance Package, though this is not visible to the driver. What is visible, however, is the GTD’s captivating rear suspension, though production models will not include zip ties.
The driver faces a unique flat-bottomed steering wheel, wrapped in leather, carbon fiber, and Dinamica, a polyester-based microsuede. This wheel includes additional controls for adjusting suspension firmness and exhaust mode, complemented by 3D-printed titanium paddle shifters with a hexagonal grip pattern. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.4-inch configurable digital cluster, featuring a special track mode that displays only the tachometer and gear information.
While the interior is a significant upgrade over the regular Mustang’s, whether it justifies the $325,000 price tag is debatable. Prospective buyers must not only have the financial means but also the passion for Ford’s iconic pony car to be considered for purchase. Ford already has more interested buyers than available GTD units, indicating high demand regardless of the interior’s quality.
