Unveiling the 2025 INFINITI QX80: Power Meets Elegance

The 2025 INFINITI QX80 is set to debut with a robust twin-turbo engine, advanced suspensions, and a tranquil cabin, redefining luxury driving.

INFINITI is set to unveil the all-new 2025 QX80 on March 20, promising a blend of design elegance and formidable power under the hood. The next-generation QX80 is engineered to enhance driver confidence and capability, featuring a state-of-the-art powertrain and chassis.

At the heart of the 2025 QX80 is the advanced VR35DDT 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine, boasting 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. This represents significant increases from the current model, with 50 more horsepower and an additional 102 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that offers a wide gear ratio range, ensuring swift acceleration and efficient cruising. The vehicle also includes active grille shutters to improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency at higher speeds.

The new QX80 prioritizes comfort and serenity, with enhancements aimed at reducing cabin noise and improving the overall driving experience. It boasts greater torsional rigidity, contributing to a quieter interior.

Innovations like the Electronic Air Suspension and Dynamic Digital Suspension adjust the vehicle’s response to various driving conditions, ensuring comfort and stability. The air suspension lowers the vehicle for easier access when parked, while the digital suspension system minimizes body motion during the ride.

Ivan Espinosa, INFINITI’s senior vice president of Global Product Strategy and Product Planning, highlighted the vehicle’s responsive powertrain, emphasizing its ability to deliver power without lag, ensuring a dynamic driving experience.

The official reveal of the 2025 QX80 will be streamed live on March 20 at 7 p.m. EST, with further details to be announced closer to the event. The vehicle will also be showcased at the 2024 New York International Auto Show from March 29 to April 7, offering the public a closer look at INFINITI’s latest innovation.
