2025 Jeep Wrangler 392: The V8 Legend Returns

Depending on your perspective, there’s either good or bad news: the Jeep Wrangler 392 is returning for the 2025 model year. Stellantis announced that «popular demand» drove the decision to bring back the V8-powered Wrangler for another year.

It features black and bronze hood and fender decals, black Nappa leather seats, a monogrammed shifter medallion and swing gate plaque, a half-inch suspension lift, a fold-out swing gate table from Mopar, and bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

Stellantis says the «Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit will remain exclusive to 2024 model-year 392 Final Edition vehicles,» but will that placate customers who paid $108,890 for what they thought was the last-ever Wrangler? While automakers must respond to customer demand, Stellantis has faced criticism before for similar actions.

A class-action lawsuit was filed against Dodge after the Durango Hellcat returned in 2023, despite being marketed as a one-year-only model. However, the Jeep community is generally friendly, and more V8 off-roaders are likely welcome. Pricing for the 2024 model was $99,995 (excluding $1,895 for destination), but the 2025 Final Edition cost is yet to be announced, with production starting early next year and orders opening before the end of 2024.
