Bentley reveals the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed with 782 HP and a 50-mile electric range.

Bentley is set to launch the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed at 16:00 BST on Tuesday, June 25. This new model combines power and sustainability, delivering 782 PS and 1000 Nm of torque, with an electric-only range of 50 miles (80 km) and a CO2 emission figure (WLTP) of under 50 g/km. The Continental GT Speed represents a significant advancement for Bentley as the most powerful road car in the company’s 105-year history, and a crucial step in Bentley’s Beyond100 journey towards sustainable luxury mobility, featuring a plug-in drivetrain across all model ranges. The car maintains the handcrafted luxury and exceptional materials that Bentley is renowned for.

Equipped with the latest chassis technology, the new Continental GT Speed includes active all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic Limited Slip Differential, 48V electric active anti-roll control, and advanced dual-valve dampers, making it Bentley’s most dynamic model to date and the first ’everyday supercar’ in its segment. The car also features a new design and a suite of advanced technologies, defining the latest generation of the Continental GT.

In addition to its impressive specifications, Bentley will announce that the new Continental GT Speed has set an unofficial «underwater speed record» by reaching a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h) in Norway’s Ryfylke Tunnel, the world’s longest subsea road tunnel and deepest tunnel of any kind. A film showcasing this feat will be released at the launch.

The Continental GT has played a pivotal role in Bentley’s modern resurgence. Initially unveiled in 2002, it catalyzed a ten-fold increase in sales and redefined the brand. The second generation debuted in 2010, followed by a V8 option in 2012. The third generation, launched in 2018, introduced a new platform, engine, suspension, electrical architecture, technology, and designs, setting new benchmarks in the luxury GT sector.
