BMW Unveils 2025 3-Series and M3 with New Powertrains and Advanced Features

The 2025 BMW 3-Series and M3 introduce upgraded engines, refreshed styling, and advanced tech. New colors, wheels, and interior features enhance the lineup. Deliveries start later this year. Prices start at $46,675 for the 330i and $77,175 for the M3.

The 2025 BMW 3-Series and M3 have been unveiled, showcasing a variety of updates including new powertrains, styling enhancements, and advanced technology.

2025 BMW 3-Series Updates

The 2025 BMW 3-Series introduces new color options such as Arctic Race Blue metallic and Vegas Red metallic. BMW Individual customers can opt for Frozen Pure Gray metallic or Frozen Portimao Blue metallic. New wheel designs complement these updates.

Interior

Inside, the 330i gets a new two-spoke steering wheel, while the M340i and 330i with the M Sport package feature a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard now includes ambient lighting with nine selectable colors and an updated infotainment system designed for easier navigation.

Powertrains

All 2025 3-Series models now include mild hybrid assist. The 330i retains its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The M340i sees a slight power increase to 386 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Both models maintain their previous 0-60 mph times. Enhancements also include stiffer rear shock mounts and lighter steering in Comfort mode.

2025 BMW M3 Updates

The 2025 BMW M3 features updated headlights with new daytime running lights and turn signals. The M Carbon Exterior Package includes carbon fiber components, while the M Carbon Package adds carbon ceramic brakes, an Alcantara steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, and M Carbon bucket seats. New forged alloy wheels in bright silver finish are also available.

Interior

The updated M3 interior loses some physical controls, such as those for climate control, now integrated into the infotainment system running BMW’s Operating System 8.5. This includes a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen housed in a curved panel. The new flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel, enhanced Sensatec dashboard, and standard Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite trim complete the interior updates.

Powertrains

The M3 retains its turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine, producing 473 hp in the base trim, achieving 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The M3 Competition boosts this to 503 hp with a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds, while the M3 Competition xDrive reaches 523 hp and 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds.

Both the 2025 BMW 3-Series and M3 will be available for customer deliveries later this year.
