Explore the new Mercedes-Benz EQV & V-Class, offering unmatched luxury, advanced digital features, and a commitment to an electrified future.
Mercedes-Benz is advancing its strategic vision for its van lineup with an emphasis on luxury and digital connectivity, marking a pivotal shift towards a premium strategy for its commercial and privately positioned vans. The introduction of the new EQV and V-Class midsize vans symbolizes a significant step towards implementing this strategy, marrying luxury with practicality, and setting a new standard for privately used vans akin to Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.
Available for order since January 2024, both models showcase significant enhancements in exterior and interior design, augmenting comfort and safety with advanced digital features. The EQV starts at 75,281.78 euros, while the V-Class begins at 59,470.25 euros, with the V-Class also serving as the foundation for the Marco Polo camper van, starting at 80,004.89 euros.
Klaus Rehkugler, Head of Sales & Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Vans, emphasized the goal of offering the most desirable vans and services by responding to customer desires for more digital features and aesthetic appeal. This upgrade in standard equipment reflects a comprehensive package aimed at exceeding customer expectations.
The EQV and V-Class enjoy popularity across Europe and Asia, catering to a wide customer base from families to business professionals. Known for their spacious interiors, high comfort levels, and unique design, these models now offer even more customization options, including various equipment lines and design packages like the AVANTGARDE, STYLE, and the high-end EXCLUSIVE versions.
These enhancements aim to bolster the MPVs' market position and signal Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to an electrified future. This transition will be further supported by the upcoming VAN.EA «electric-only» vehicle architecture set to launch in 2026, paving the way towards a net carbon-neutral vehicle fleet by 2039.
The new models sport a revamped exterior featuring a distinctive radiator grille, LED light bands depending on the model, and adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights, contributing to a striking presence. The interior sees a digital overhaul with dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays, modernized cockpit, and optional comfort features like wireless smartphone charging and KEYLESS start function.
Equipped with the latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system, the vans offer a seamless digital interaction, providing drivers with enhanced functions, personalization options, and a plethora of digital extras for an efficient and enjoyable driving experience.
The EQV offers two battery sizes with a range of up to 365 kilometers, supporting both AC and fast DC charging. The V-Class continues with its efficient diesel engine options and anticipates the addition of a new petrol engine variant. All models feature the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and offer diverse driving dynamics, with the combustion engine variants being rear-wheel drive and electric models front-wheel drive.
Safety and assistance systems have been significantly upgraded to include features like Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function, ensuring a safer driving experience across all situations.
The new EQV and V-Class not only epitomize Mercedes-Benz’s luxurious design ethos but also underscore the brand’s commitment to innovation, digital integration, and sustainability, setting a new benchmark for the future of luxury MPVs.
